Tahini Raisin Bars

During a rainy day last week…

A Rainy, Rainy Day…

… I was in the mood to bake!

There was just one problem. I have no oven.

So I made some tasty raw bars that have an “oatmeal raisin” kind of flavor. These definitely have that “comfort food” feel to them. Pair with a cup of tea and you’ll be cozy in no time.

tahini bars

Tahini Raisin Bars

3/4 c. almond or cashew flour (meal works too)
1/4 c. raisins
1/4 c. shredded coconut
2 Tbsp. coconut oil
3 tsp. tahini
1 Tbsp. honey
1 tsp. maca
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
pinch of sea salt

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and press into a small square container.
  2. Refrigerate until firm and then cut into 1-2 inch squares.
